My story is a
Cambridge Story
Twenty-six years ago, still in my twenties, I arrived in Cambridge with my wife, Suneetha — with hope, determination, and a desire to build a better future for our family.
We began at the former Satellite Motel on Hespeler Road. From there we rented a modest one-bedroom apartment on Wooley Street. And through hard work and perseverance, we bought our first home on Sekura Street. Our two sons were both born at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
Before Canada, I had lived and worked across several continents. But Cambridge is where we chose to build our life, raise our family, and put down roots. For twenty-six years, this city has been home.
Cambridge gave my family an opportunity. Everything I've done since has been about giving back to the community that welcomed us.

Cambridge welcomed my family when we had nothing. Giving back has never felt like an obligation — it's felt like gratitude in action.
I've given more than 20,000 hours of community volunteerism, and that record began long before I ever considered seeking public office. It has taken me to Cambridge Memorial Hospital, the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, the Royal Canadian Legion, youth organizations, charities, service clubs, business organizations, cultural associations, places of worship, sports organizations, and countless community initiatives throughout Cambridge and the Region of Waterloo.
Whether mentoring young leaders, supporting families in need, raising funds for charitable causes, advocating for the organizations that strengthen our community, or bringing people together across cultures and generations, the work has never been about recognition. It has always been about making Cambridge stronger, more connected, and more compassionate.

Throughout my career, I've worked extensively with elected officials at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels, with senior government staff, public agencies, Indigenous communities, private-sector leaders, and nonprofit organizations. I understand how government works, how partnerships are built, and how collaboration can transform communities.
My professional life has been built on strategic planning, complex negotiations, mediation, conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, and consensus building — listening first, understanding different perspectives, finding common ground, and delivering practical solutions.
These are the same skills I'll bring to Regional Council:
Advocating effectively for Cambridge at a table where our voice needs to be louder

Supporting responsible economic growth that creates local jobs and broadens our tax base

Throughout my journey, I have earned the trust and respect of residents, community leaders, business owners, healthcare professionals, veterans, volunteers, faith leaders, nonprofit organizations, and people from every walk of life. They know me as someone who listens, brings people together, keeps his word, and leads with integrity.
For me, the greatest endorsement is not an award or a title — it is the confidence of the community I have proudly served for the last twenty-six years.
Beyond the Boardroom
Long before I was an engineer or an executive, I was a musician.
I began as a child prodigy on percussion, and over the years I've performed on thousands of stages around the world — in front of audiences who didn't always share my language.
Together with Suneetha, I continue to nurture music, dance, arts, and culture across Ontario. It has given us lifelong friendships across cultures and generations, and it has reinforced the belief that has guided my entire life.

Taxpayers deserve value for every dollar Every budget line should be defensible, and every major project should prove its worth before your money is committed.
Cambridge deserves its fair share of Regional investment. We contribute significantly to the Region of Waterloo, and we should see it returned in infrastructure, services, and opportunity.
Elected representatives should be accessible, accountable, transparent, and present in the community they serve — not just at election time.
Every resident deserves to be heard, respected, and represented. Every neighbourhood matters. Every voice matters.
These aren't campaign positions. They're how I've operated for thirty years.
Why I'm
RUNNING
I'm seeking your support to serve as one of Cambridge's Regional Councillors because I believe our city deserves stronger representation, responsible financial stewardship, transparent decision-making, and an independent voice focused on results — not politics.
Two Regional Councillor positions will be elected from Cambridge, and I respectfully ask for the opportunity to earn your support as one of your choices.
I'm committed to bringing people together, building partnerships, making informed decisions, and always putting the interests of Cambridge residents first.
For more than three decades, I've built trust, solved complex problems, united people, and delivered meaningful results. Now I'm ready to put that experience to work for the community that gave my family everything.
